This is where it all starts! Whether you are interested in competition, Rally, Agility, Pet Therapy or just want a well-behaved dog that you can be proud to take anywhere. Our goal is to teach good social skills when interacting with other dogs and people and most importantly, strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Obedience classes are designed for dogs of any age and dogs that have had little or no training. We will guide you through teaching your dog all the basic obedience commands such as, sit, heel, stay, down and come when called and to sit quietly for examination. We’ll do focus work and obedience commands with positive reinforcement techniques. Like all new skills, practice will be key to getting the most out of this class. Obedience Level 1 is designed for puppies 6 months of age to older dogs that have had little or no training. We will guide you through teaching your dog all the basic obedience commands such as, sit, heel, stay, down and come when called and to sit quietly for examination. *Orientation* begins at home with our PDF manual and 3-part video instruction that you will receive access to at registration. At our ﬁrst group session, we will answer questions, learn about equipment, best practices for how to stay consistent at home and how to practice your homework	Obedience 2 is *designed to build on your relationship* with your dog with focus on off-leash skills, hand signals, control of your dog and distance sit and down-stays while keeping focused when there are distractions. You will feel conﬁdent taking your dog in public as he or she will come when you call them. This class is designed to build conﬁdence in the dog and the owner.	Obedience 3 will ensure you and your dog can *communicate without being in sight.*We will reinforce hand-signals and sit-stay and down-stay skills even while you are in motion and out of sight. This class is great for injury and lost prevention, and a wonderful goal for you and your pet to aspire to	Designed for puppies 10 weeks to 6 months. Group class to teach your dog to come when you call them. • Does your dog say “In a minute” when you call or not come at all? • Is everything more interesting (including dirt) than you ? • What happens when you say their name? • How to manage challenging environments	For competitive obedience interest only, 5-week session, tons of skills taught through fun, engaging games. Must be super committed and attend all 5 classes	Does your dog need a tune-up of its obedience commands? Are you looking for more of a challenge with your dog? This class combines my two most favorite things, agility, and obedience. In this 5 week's session, we will freshen up on basic commands like heel, sit, stay and recall, as well as add in some fun challenges with some of the agility equipment. Perfect for those wanting to build a better connection as well as have good control.

Agility

Agility is exciting and rewarding for both the dog and the owner! It is a competitive sport designed to test a person's training and dog handling skills. An agility course is the equivalent of an amusement park for your dog. They run, jump, climb, go through tunnels and weave through poles. This sport requires both dog and handler to learn a wide variety of skills by using a positive approach and correction free training.

You and your dog will develop a true partnership and become experts at reading each other's body language. Effective agility training creates an amazing bond, builds conﬁdence in even the shyest of dogs, and is great exercise for both you and your dog.

All our equipment is AKC compliant and purchased by professional equipment manufacturers. We inspect our facility and the equipment on a daily basis to ensure safety for you and your dog.

For beginners with an emphasis on focus and stay work. Introduction to Jumps, A-frame, Pause Table, Tunnel, Baby Walk-it, and Wobble Board. Appropriate for all dog ages and breeds.	Introduction to all of the Agility equipment including competitive walk-it, teeter and weave poles	Continued practice of Walk-it, Teeter, Weave Poles and begin working on Sequencing, Contacts, and Target work.	Continued work on obstacles with emphasis on handling skills, speed, and dog and handler conﬁdence. Introduction to front and rear crossovers, turn work and more sequencing.

Private Lessons / Specialty

Private training lessons are a great solution to correct and improve socialization, obedience and difficult behavior. A great solution for aggressive, shy, or wild dogs that can be addressed and corrected in a focused environment. We use professional, positive behavior change techniques to help you improve your dogs’ troubled behaviors.

We are AKC (American Kennel Club) Evaluators and can certify your dog as a Canine Good Citizen in three categories, Basic, Urban or Advanced. This involves a brief demonstration and test and is performed at our facility. Upon evaluation, we will award you and your dog with certification that you can proudly display. Why get certified? Some apartments or similar developments require your pet to be certified to prove that you have a well behaved dog and that you can control it in any circumstance.
